How far we have come in such a relatively short time. On June 1,
2002 I resigned First Baptist Church of Pearland, TX after 12 years of ministry to pursue full-time this mission of mobilizing Pastors across America.

In the spring of this year we received confirmation that The Church Report, an online journal that reaches 90,000 churches, had selected Vision America as one of the top Christian political organizations in America. Certainly God has chosen to bless and anoint our efforts to call Pastors to be salt and light in the moral/civic arena. During the next five months we will be focusing most of our efforts on the state of Missouri, where the next major battle for the soul of America is being waged. Millions of dollars are pouring into that state in an effort to pass a Constitutional Amendment allowing human cloning for the first time in American history.

At the outset of this battle, we are more than 20 points behind in the polls. The big spenders have convinced the voters that human cloning for medical experiments is an acceptable proposition.
From now until election day, Vision America is allocating $100,000 toward educating Pastors otherwise.

We will hold five major rallies around the state featuring Alan Keyes and myself, and a minimum of 10 Pastor Briefings, each gathering up to 100 Pastors. We are also planning a campaign on the airwaves with allies at American Family Radio and the Bott Radio Network offering their communication networks for our efforts.

I cannot sit back and watch this happen and I know that there are men of God in local congregations who feel the same. We only need to locate, educate, and activate these pastors for the cause of life.

I will be spending the next 5 months looking for Patriot Pastors who will...stand up, speak up and refuse to give up...in Missouri.

Oh, I see. Demolishing the social order. That isn’t really the same as killing kids, is it? There are plenty of things that have the capacity to actually kill kids in America—endemic poverty leading to malnutrition/starvation, lack of access to affordable healthcare (including cutting-edge treatments and drugs), corporate irresponsibility and lax environmental regulations, guns, the kind of opportunistic hatemongering that plays on prejudices and can spiral into hate crimes which leave gay teenagers hanging dead on fences, just for a start. Curiously, what all those things have in common is that they wouldn’t make a good fit with the title Liberalism Kills Kids. I’m sure there’s a more appropriate title, but, gosh, it’s just escaping me at the moment
