Rick Scarborough slanders HBO and Alexandra Pelosi

Hey Mr. Pastor of Hate SBC Baptist buffoon Rick Scarborough of Vision America in Lufkin, Tx. or Nacogdoches, Tx, or wherever you are today spreading your Gospel of Hate:

Here sir is the definition of the word "slander":

  • words falsely spoken that damage the reputation of another.
  • an abusive attack on a person's character or good name.

There is nothing "good" in your character, nothing "false" in Nancy Pelosi's daughters HBO account of how crazy you lunatic Baptist extremists are. We voted you OUT. Go Away!

Vision America Rejects HBO's Slander of Evangelicals

NACOGDOCHES, Texas, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Vision America

President Reverend Rick Scarborough today expressed dismay and objection to HBO's supposed documentary on evangelical Christians, "Friends of God,"which premiered on January 25 and will run at various times through themonth of February.Scarborough is one of the evangelical leaders appearing in thedocumentary."'Friends of God,' is about what you'd expect from a cable networkwhich most serious minded evangelicals do not even allow in their homes,
due to the content of its programming," Scarborough declared.

The special, directed by Alexandra Pelosi (daughter of House SpeakerNancy Pelosi), focuses on every oddity imaginable -- including "Christianwrestling" and "Christian miniature golf" -- to make 80 million Americansfrom all walks of life seem freakish."I wasn't even aware that such things existed until someone alerted methat I was in the documentary and I began investigating it," Scarborough said.

Scarborough observes: "I was also troubled by the subtle camera techniques which made Christians look less than normal, framed in the context of a primary emphasis on Dr. Ted Haggard, who resigned as president of the National Association of Evangelicals and was dismissed as senior pastor of his church. Haggard, who resigned his post amidst scandal, was
interviewed longer than anyone else. Was Pelosi implying that we are all hypocrites?

"If you choose to watch 'Friends of God,' understand that what you're seeing is an attempt to denigrate evangelical Christians. Take it for what it is -- a cleverly packaged assault, designed to undermine the valuablecontributions to our country of 80 million Bible-believing Americans,"
Scarborough cautioned.
